We are thrilled to have supported Outstanding Contribution within the North East automotive sector, at this year’s North East Automotive Alliance Awards evening.
The North East Automotive Alliance Awards 2018, held on February 9 at the Roker Hotel, Sunderland, saw a total of £18,000 in prize money presented on the night, and people and companies recognised for achievements including: trade and investment, business competitiveness, innovation, scale up, ‘Young Achiever – Apprentice’ and ‘Young Achiever – Graduate’.
RMS sponsored and presented the ‘Outstanding Contribution’ accolade, which was awarded to Mike Matthews MBE, managing director at car parts supplier Nifco, for his contribution to the North East automotive sector and for inspiring others within the industry.
Chris Allinson, operations & business development manager, said: “The NEAA Annual Awards aims to celebrate the success of companies and individuals within the North East automotive sector – and with that said it was a great honour to present the award to such an influential figure in the sector.
