• Location: Corby
• Position: Wheel Refurbisher / Prepper
• Working Hours: Monday-Friday – 2 shift rotation 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
• Salary: £15.95 per hour (Overtime and Unsociable hours at an Increased rate)

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Wheel Refurbisher to join our client. As an Alloy Wheel Refurbisher, you will be responsible for removing damaged wheels from the vehicle and prepare the wheels for painting and once painted put the wheel back on the vehicle without damage.

Key Responsibilities:

• To competently remove wheel following the correct processes and procedures.
• To competently remove the tyre from the wheel rim.
• To carry out masking procedures.
• To sand down wheels.
• To prepare the wheel for necessary paint repairs
• Priming wheels.
• To carry out buffering and polishing techniques. 
• Re-fit the wheel to the vehicle to the customer standard
• To maintain the upkeep of all Workshop tools and equipment.
• To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function

About you:

• Previous experience with SMART Repair and Wheel refurbishments
• Full UK driving licence, with less than 6 penalty points / No DR10 Offences
• Reliable and responsible, with a strong commitment to safety.
