RMS attends Armed Forces Covenant signing in support of Armed Forces

As strong supporters of the Armed Forces, it was our pleasure to attend the prestigious Armed Forces Covenant signing in support of veterans last night.

His Majesty’s Vice Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham Mr. J Michael Poole JP DL at Blackwell Grange Hotel and distinguished military guests attended the event at Blackwell Grange Hotel which recognises local employers’ commitment to veterans.

We are proud to be a member of the Armed Forces Covenant and do our utmost to support veterans back into work.

RMS Business Development Executive and veteran herself, Dionne Kingsley, said: “Personally speaking as a veteran and collectively as a business with strong armed forces connections, we recognise the challenges faced by Armed Forces personnel when transitioning into civilian roles. We also understand the skills, experience and other benefits they have to offer and actively support them.”

The distinguished military guests were Brigadier Paul Joseph Baker OBE of the Chief Executive Office Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association for the North of England, and Commanding Officer of 102 Battalion Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, Lieutenant Colonel Martin Leach, who co-signed on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.

If you are a veteran looking for work, please contact Dionne and the team at 01325 389333.
