Zennor Petroleum’s North Sea business has acquired working interests in the Britannia Field from Mitsui E&P UK. The acquisition includes UKCS Licences P.213, Block 16/26a, Area B and P.345 Block 16/27b Area B, representing 8.97% of the Britannia Field.
Zennor noted the strategic importance of the acquisition owing to its proximity to the nearby Finlaggan Field, in which it has a 100% operated working interest. Two wells are currently being drilled at Finlaggan as part of the company’s field development plans, which are scheduled include a subsea tie back to the Britannia platform. Read more…
