Vessel to give BP added reach on Mungo field

Norwegian firm Reach Subsea will supply one of its vessels for operations on BP’s Mungo field in the North Sea.

The Normand Reach ship will be used on a walk-to-work project scheduled to start late April.

The contract is expected to last at least 12 weeks.

Jostein Alendal, chief executive of Reach Subsea, said:  “This contract marks another important milestone for Reach Subsea.

“We will, as always, focus on strong execution to ensure that our track record for operational excellence remains intact.”

Mungo is one of BP’s fields in the ETAP area of the central North Sea.
