World Mental Health Day 2017

At RMS we understand and feel very passionate about mental health and especially within the workplace which is what this year focuses on – mental health in the workplace.

It is important that mental health is spoken about and is challenged on a daily basis as unlike physical issues, it can be extremely difficult to detect.

This year in 2017, we have raised vital funds for our charity of choice PTSD Resolution which is a mental health and well being charity.

We are proud that we have been able to raise over £20,000 due to the fantastic efforts of the RMS team who have completed challenges such as the Wainwrights 190 mile Coast 2 Coast walk and the Simply Health Great North Run.

As trained mental health counsellors here at RMS, we are always available to chat confidentially and to help whenever you need to share your problems. Mental health is something that can effect us all at some point in our lives – whether it is financial crisis, stress from the pressures of work or coping with trauma and loss, we are here to help. We have had many successful instances whereby our team has been able to help employees in different sectors across the UK.

Simple questions such as how are you? and remembering its okay to ask and to open up if you are struggling is the key message we want to say to our many employees. These small conversations and questions can go along way to helping fellow friends and work colleagues who may be suffering in silence.

Together we can make a difference!
