Bibby Offshore, a leading subsea services provider to the oil and gas industry, has announced a multimillion pound contract with a global energy player, Maersk Oil UK, to provide both late life production enhancement and decommissioning support in the North Sea. The contract saw Bibby Offshore’s diving support vessel Bibby Polaris operate at two separate locations, undertaking production system isolations and critical component replacements to facilitate late life production enhancement, together with comprehensive decommissioning support, which includes subsea deconstruction and infrastructure recovery.
