• Location: Corby
• Position: Wheel Prepper
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Weekly shift rotation of 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
• Salary: £15.49 P/H + Unsociable Hours / Overtime allowance

About the role:

We’re hiring Wheel Preppers responsible for removing damage wheels from the vehicle and prepare the wheel for painting and once painted put the wheel back on the vehicle without damage.

Key Responsibilities:

• To competently remove wheel following the correct processes and procedures.
• To competently remove the tyre from the wheel rim.
• To carry out masking procedures.
• To sand down wheels.
• To prepare the wheel for necessary paint repairs
• Priming wheels.
• To carry out buffering and polishing techniques. 
• Re-fit the wheel to the vehicle to the customer standard
• To maintain the upkeep of all Workshop tools and equipment.
• To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.

About you:

• Must have two year’s work experience within a wheel refurbishment environment. 
• Knowledge of SMART repair and wheel refurb processes. 
• Hold a valid drivers license with less than 6 penalty points and no DR10 offences.
