Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking Pre Delivery Inspectors. This is an outdoor position where you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are stored and maintained to the highest standards. 

Job Details:

  • Location: Crewe
  • Salary: £12.23p/h, weekly pay
  • Type: Flexible Ongoing
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Weekly shift rotation of 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm. 
  • Contract Type: Flexible ongoing, we are looking for individuals who can commit to work 3-5 shifts per week and is available on any day. Both part-time & full-time opportunties are available.

About the Role:

Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Site Manager and Team Leader, you will be required to perform various inspection checks on newly manufactured vehicles, completing a full Pre-Delivery Inspection, including compound handling, to prepare them for dealerships.

Key responsibilities of the Role:

  • To carry out safe vehicle movements in a multifaceted compound setting.
  • To comply with the correct parking procedures and site speed limits.
  • To conduct pre-delivery Inspections in accordance with company quality standards.
  • To preform appropriate safety testing of vehicle settings.
  • To support with vehicle fuelling
  • To support with valeting vehicles – internally and externally. 
  • To complete documentation of all inspection paperwork and report any discrepancies to the compound team leader.
  • To ensure health & safety procedures are adhered at all times.
  • Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.

About you?

  • To be successful, you must be over 25 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.
  • To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to work the specified shift times above.
  • To succeed in this role, you will need to pass an onsite drivers’ assessment and a pre-employment drug & alcohol test prior to starting.
  • The ideal candidate will be confident in their driving and have experience with automatic and manual vehicles.
  • The ideal candidate will have a level headed approach. This is required when driving vehicles to ensure the safety of yourself & your colleagues.
  • The ideal candidate will have basic understanding of health and safety and cooperate with managers to comply with Health & Safety regulations.
