Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, flexible and detail-oriented General Office Administrator to support daily office operations with our client based in Shildon

The ideal candidate will be responsible for administrative duties that ensure the smooth running of the office. This is a part time role, offering up to £13 per hour. This role is temporary ongoing and will be working Wednesday & Thursday from 12PM and Friday 9AM – 5PM. We are looking for candidates who can be flexible as days may change week by week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and handle general inquiries
  • Maintain filing systems (electronic and physical) and ensure documents are up to date
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars for staff.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Order office supplies and manage inventory.
  • Support accounting functions such as invoicing, billing, and expense tracking.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office environment.
