RMS has teamed up with a outstanding client who is a leading provider of financial advice to serving military personnel, veterans, and their loved ones. Due to recent business growth they are currently expanding and growing their dynamic team and are now looking for a experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and manage their clients & sales team.

  • Salary: £40,000-£45,000 DOE

About the Role:

Working as a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, driving sales growth, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales processes, and the ability to motivate and guide a team to success.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and growth objectives.
    • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and target markets.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
    • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members to ensure a high-performing sales force.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring:
    • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction to foster long-term relationships.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement lead generation strategies.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
    • Monitor expenditures to ensure they remain within budgetary limits.

About You:

  • The ideal candidate will hold a Qualification within the Marketing/Sales or related field.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience in a sales management or a similar role
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • The ideal candidate will have a understanding of the military or a background in financial services.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ideal candidate will be Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions
  • The ideal candidate will possess a vehicle and hold a full UK Driving license.
