RMS Recruitment is actively seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Electrician to join our client’s team in Whitby. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading specialist Electrical & Instrumentation services contractor, providing engineering, construction, commissioning, and maintenance services across a diverse range of industries, including Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, Mining, Power & Renewables, Industrial & Manufacturing, and Commercial & Retail.

Job Details:

• Location: Whitby
• Position: Electrician
• Type: Contract
• Working Hours: 10 days on, 4 days off
• Salary: £22.90 – £36.66 per hour

About the Role:

As an Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s electrical systems and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing cable containment systems such as ladder racks and cable trays.
• Performing power and instrument cable installations.
• Conducting glanding, terminating, and testing of electrical systems.

About You:

The ideal candidate will hold a JIB Gold Card as an approved electrician and have a proven track record in the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems. Experience in the sectors we serve will be highly regarded.

Additional Information:

• Lodging allowance: £49.27 per night
• Mileage allowance: 0.22p
• Paid through either CIS or Limited company.
