RMS is excited to partner with a prestigious name in the automotive industry, and we’re on the lookout for a Allocator to join our admin team!
- Based in Corby
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
- Permanent Contract (37.5hours per week)
- £14.45per hour
About the Role:
Working under the supervision and Co-ordination of the Compound Manager, you will be required to liaise with external carriers to plan the efficient arrival and despatch of vehicles from site.
- To liaise with carriers to co-ordinate the scheduled date and time of vehicles from site
- To communicate with the Inbound / Outbound Compound team members to ensure the correct vehicles are available for despatch in line with client timeframes
- Ensure systems are updated in real time
- Ensure all appropriate documentation in relation to arrivals and despatches are completed in full and safely stored for ease of retrieval
- Produce stats on a daily / weekly / monthly basis to the Inbound / Outbound Compound Manager.
- To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
About you:
- Previous experience in a Traffic Allocation role.
- Must be PC Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
- Must have excellent Numeracy and literacy skills
- Must be a strong communication skills
- Must be a team player
- Must be Flexible to support in all areas and complete any tasks required
- Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
- Must be confident resolving driver queries.
- Must have attention to Detail
