RMS have an exciting NEW opportunity for experienced Polishers to join our prestigious Automotive client in their state of art Workshop.

• Location: Corby
• Position: Polisher / Snagger
• Working Hours: Nightshift 10pm – 6am Sunday – Thursday
• Salary: £21.94 per hour

Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? We’re hiring Polishers / Snaggers responsible for carrying out necessary bodywork damage repairs to ensure vehicles are in pristine condition prior to despatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• To prepare and carry out any necessary polish techniques to CAT standards
• To ensure that all vehicles are completed using appropriate SMART techniques
• To ensure materials are used within the manufacturer’s instruction and minimal usage for effective repair
• To remove and replace / fit protector moldings, transfers and decals if required
• Apply finishing materials, water and solvency-based materials
• To carry out buffering and burnishing
• Inspect finished vehicle to ensure no damage
• To maintain the upkeep of all Workshop tools and equipment
• To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function

About you

• To be successful, you must be over 22 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Polishing / Snagging
