RMS are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a manufacturing client on a permanent basis, based in Ferryhill.
Within this role, you will be supporting/coaching managers with people issues, contract updates, job specs and recruitment.
The working hours will be Monday to Thursday 8AM – 5PM and Friday 8AM – 12:30PM.
Main Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process.
- Handle confidential employee information with discretion and integrity.
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions on various HR topics, such as diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and performance appraisal processes.
- Assist with administrative tasks for the board.
- Looking after apprentices with tasks such as making sure they go to college, funds are paid, check ins, factory rotations and holidays.
As an ideal candidate, you should have:
- Previous HR Experience within a Manufacturing background.
- Full driving licence is essential due to requirement of travel.
- Be passionate about HR and good communications at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages such as Word, Excel etc.
