RMS Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a HR/Training Administrator to join our client’s Human Resources Department based in Gateshead. You will report to the Financial Controller and will keep on-top of daily HR & Training tasks.

This is a full-time, permanent position and is fully office based. You will be working Monday to Friday, Day Shift (40 hours per week). They are offering a salary of £27k per annum.

Main Duties & Responsibilities will include:

  • Update HR systems (e,g. T&A, Workday, etc.), databases and trackers in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Recruitment administration support including collating of CVs, arranging interviews/recruitment and selection events/assessment centres, room bookings and managing associated paperwork.
  • On-boarding and Induction administration tasks including reference checking, preparing New Starter Offer packs and Induction packs.
  • Co-ordinate Occupational Health appointments, issue paperwork, etc.
  • Attendance Management administration support, including the co-ordination of RTW documentation.
  • Process all new starters and leavers
  • Process absence requests
  • Co-ordination of Company Uniform.
  • Accurately maintaining the manual and electronic files, ensuring compliance with General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Co-ordination of the annual Performance Appraisals for Employees.
  • Assisting with maintaining and updating HR documentation.
  • Assist with the implementation of Corporate T&D strategy and programs at site level.
  • Provide effective preparation and support for the co-ordination of all Company on-site/off-site training events (e.g. book training venues, issue training invites/joining instructions to delegates, attendance list, handouts, course evaluation forms.
  • Accurate administration and processing of employee training records, updating relevant files and systems (e.g. training database, matrices, Workday system Talent Module, annual training planner, training logs).
  • Coordinate on-site E-learning sessions.
  • Assist with the coordination of all Mandatory Refresher Training (e.g. H&S, FLT, Auditors,1st Aiders, etc.).
  • Coordinate on-site and off-site Student/Work Experience Placements.
  • Support H&S Team with training related activities and associated documentation.
  • Ensure training evaluations are issued and logged in a timely manner.
  • Coordination of apprenticeship events.
  • Provide additional ad-hoc support as required.
  • Coordinate refreshments/buffets for training events
  • Other administration duties including typing, filing, photocopying, sending letters, emails, etc., as required.

As an Ideal Candidate, you should have:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills (Maths and English)
  • Level 3 Business Administration Qualification (or equivalent)
  • 2 Years experience in an administration-based role, ideally within a HR administration environment.
  • Good IT Skills and Proficient in Microsoft Packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Payroll/T&A Software.
