RMS are looking for a experienced and skilled Fabricator to join our clients growing team in the Peterlee area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established and respected company within the fabrication and engineering industry.

• Salary: £15.00 – £15.75 per hour (Negotiable depending on experience)
• Contract Type: Temp to Perm
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Shift: Monday to Thursday: 7:45am – 4:45pm, Friday: 7:45am – 1:45pm
• Location: Peterlee, County Durham

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Reading and working from engineering drawings

• Fabricating bespoke components and structures to specification

• Working with various materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium

• Operating fabrication equipment and machinery safely and efficiently

• Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines

About you:

• Proven experience in a fabrication role

• Ability to interpret technical drawings

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good time management and teamwork skills

• A proactive approach to health & safety
