RMS are excited to be recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support manufacturing operations with our client based in Peterlee.

This is an on-going temporary position and would be working Monday to Friday (7AM-3:10PM). Please note: There may be requirements to work shifts based on the Business needs (morning, afternoon & nights) so candidates need to be flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for physically handling bearings and inspecting for defaults; including chips or oil stains
• Responsible for separating bearings into 2 containers, “good bearings” which are suitable for use, or “scrap” if they are deemed poor quality
• Maintaining physical diary of number of scrap bearings for quality compliance
• Health & Safety awareness
• General housekeeping
• Regular contact with Group Leader, advising them of any patterns of defaults to improve quality standards

The successful candidate will be required to attend an induction and complete a D&A Test.
