- Salary: £23,091-34,140 pro-rata
- Shifts: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (8 hours per day)

About the Role:
As an Occupational Health Screening Nurse, you will be part of a small, in-house nurse-led team, providing health assessments and surveillance for employees and external contractors. Your role includes conducting pre-employment screenings, promoting health initiatives, and monitoring employee well-being. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively within the team, using your strong administrative skills to organise Occupational Health Physician and Physiotherapy clinics, while liaising with external healthcare professionals.
- Meet departmental and client objectives while providing high-quality care.
- Perform day-to-day operations including employee health surveillance, vaccinations, and phlebotomy.
- Maintain and update the occupational health recording system.
- Coordinate Occupational Health clinics and collaborate with the in-house physiotherapist.
- Ensure effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, managers, clients, and external agencies to guarantee seamless service delivery.
- Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to Data Protection regulations.
- Provide emergency first aid when needed.
- Maintain equipment, ensure proper cleaning, and manage stock levels.
- Work within NMC Professional Practice and Code of Conduct, applying research and best practices.
- Act independently while collaborating within the multi-disciplinary team, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Clincs and assessments include:
- Pre-placement, Health Surveillance, Safety Critical Workers, Vison, Audiometry, Spirometry, HAVS, Skin assessment, Drivers – FLT – HGV.
About You:
- Registered General Nurse (NMC registered).
- Experience in Occupational Health or GP settings.
- Skilled in relevant health surveillance activities.
- Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication skills with strong written English.
- Proficient in IT (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- A valid driving license and access to a car for business purposes.
- Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Sensitive to the needs of clients with a demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health.
