Survivex gains IWCF approval for well intervention training

Training provider Survivex has received approval from the International Well Control Forum (IWCF) to run well intervention courses from its Well Control Training Centre of Excellence in Aberdeen.

Well intervention is essential training for those working in critical well intervention positions and Survivex has been approved to offer the full range of IWCF Well Intervention courses including Levels 2, 3 and 4. These courses provide a practical and theoretical understanding of live well pressure control covering subjects such as wireline, coiled tubing, snubbing procedures and completion operations.

As well as practical training within its centre, Survivex also offers these accreditations as virtual training for those who would like instructor interaction but prefer to train remotely. Read more…
