Norway clears Aker BP to drill Hyrokkin wildcat

Norway has given Aker BP permission to have a wildcat well drilled on the North Sea Hyrokkin field.

The Maersk Interceptor will carry out the drilling campaign on the licence.

It will be the first well drilled in the licence, which was awarded in 2012.

Aker BP operates and holds 60% of the licence. It partners are Fortis Petroleum Norway with 30% and MOL Norge with 10%.
