Siemens’ Mobility Division is using Stratasys’ Fortus 900mc Production 3D Printer to cut time and cost barriers of low-volume production of tram parts for German transport services provider, Stadtwerke Ulm/Neu Ulm (SWU) Verkehr. These final tram parts can be created in a matter of days compared to weeks with traditional methods, while also eradicating the need for costly tooling.
